About a month ago we added a new member to our family. Meet Charlie! He is an Australian Shepherd that is as cute as can be, that creates messes just about everywhere he goes. At first I was intimidated by the idea of using vinegar, but I quickly found that it worked wonders to clean up the messiest of messes and despite the picture below, even Charlie likes it.
For potty accidents: Blot up the accident and then spray with Four Monks™ Cleaning Vinegar. Blot up the vinegar until it is almost dry and then sprinkle baking soda over the area and let it dry. Vacuum up the baking soda the next day.
For lingering odors: Cover the area with baking soda and let it stand overnight. Vacuum it up in the morning and then spray with Four Monks™ Cleaning Vinegar. Rinse and let dry.
